Jockey’s Ridge is the tallest natural sand dune system in the Eastern United States. Located in Nags Head, it is one of the most significant landmarks on the Outer Banks, North Carolina. Park is open year round. Free programs are offered each season. For some, space is limited and pre-registration is required. Programs include: Sunset on the Ridge, Crabby Clinic, Kayaking, Birding on the Sound and Go Fly a Kite.
