Mike Harrington, CEO of Resort Realty of the Outer Banks, is proud to announce the company’s staff and real estate sales agents have donated an abundance of canned and packaged food items to help those in need this holiday season. Contributions have been given to the Outer Banks Association of Realtors for their collection to help restock the Outer Banks Beach Food Pantry (which was flooded during Hurricane Sandy). The company matched the generosity of its staff by donating a $250 check to the Pantry.
Staff and agents also donated the fixings for a traditional thanksgiving dinner for three local families in need, while the company is supplying the turkeys. The gifts will be handed out by the Island Woman’s Club in partnership with the Dare County Department of Social Services for their yearly outreach program.
“I am extremely proud of the team here at Resort Realty,” Harrington said. The company is committed to helping our local communities prosper and our staff and agents value that same philosophy. I hope the generosity of our staff and agents will allow a few families to have a happier holiday this year.
