March 30th + 31st @ 10 AM // Kitty Hawk Kites, Nags Head
See kites fly, enjoy the great weather, and even meet the Easter Bunny! Join in on the EGGstravaganza and hunt for Easter eggs all over Jockey’s Ridge! Hunts will be broken down by age groups and special Golden and Silver eggs will be spread all around! Remember to bring your ow easter basket to this FREE event!
March 31st // 11 AM – 1 PM // NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island
Have fun hunting for Easter eggs and learn all at once! Kids will learn about sea turtles, make a craft to take home, and of course hunt for sea turtle Easter eggs! This event is $15.00 plus admission for general public and $13.50 for Aquarium members. This event will also be rain or shine and specifically for children ages 3 to 7.
March 31st // 10 AM – 1 PM // The Elizabethan Gardens, Manteo
Enjoy egg spoon races, music, dancing, crafts, and so much more at the biggest egg hunt on the beach! The Easter Eggstravaganza features fun for the whole family. Members and friends of The Gardens can attend for free. Non-members standard admission and one child under age 5 admitted free with each paying adult.
March 31st // 7:30 AM – 10 AM // Uppowoc Street, Manteo
Run for a great cause this Easter Weekend. The Hoppin’ 8K, 5K, and Fun Run will raise money to assist local 5-year-old Bella Conner with cerebral palsy, and 7-year-old Ansley Johnson who was recently diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Awards will be given to the top 3 female and male finishers in the 8K and 5K and medals will be awarded to all participants. For registration, visit the Hoppin’ 5K website!
March 31st @ 12 PM // Pangea Tavern, Avon
A fun filled day for the whole family is to be had at Pangea Tavern! Take photos with the Easter bunny, the kids can join in on an egg hunt, and the adults have their own beer hun that will follow! Food and drink specials are also available all day.
