The holidays are almost here which means that it’s time to start thinking about gifts for your loved ones. Between Christmas shopping for your friends, significant other, and family, the holiday season can be hectic and stressful…but it doesn’t have to be.
Collect moments, not things. It’s a simple statement…with a profound effect. Sure, life can get busy, but it’s important to take time out to cherish simple pleasures. Conversations that linger. Frolicking in the sun. Quiet walks with little hands looking for shells. Treasured family vacations. The gift of an Outer Banks vacation will be sure to put a smile on everyone’s face (including yours)! Lifetime memories will be created, smiles will be found all around, and you’ll definitely win “best gift of the year” award.
If the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping has you stressed out, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Check out our top 5 reasons why giving the gift of an Outer Banks vacation is the perfect gift to give this year.
We get it. There’s nothing better than flipping through a toy catalog, circling the “must have” toys, and then crafting your letter to Santa. Just remember, toys that your children just had to have might last until February until they get lost in the mysterious toy abyss that is the bottom of the toy chest, their closet…or if you’re like me, between the seats in the car. Stop wasting money on those tiny plastic figures with weird names like Freda Frosting or Pineapple Crush. An Outer Banks vacation is something that isn’t tangible so it won’t get lost (and end up next to week old goldfish crackers).
Let’s be honest, one of the biggest pains of Christmas is wrapping presents. When you give the gift of an Outer Banks vacation, ditch the wrapping paper for a travel themed card. You can also create an Outer Banks themed basket to keep the family guessing what this year’s gift is! Need an Outer Banks vacation gift certificate? Just let one of our friendly Vacation Specialists know and we’ll be happy to create one for you to print and put under the tree.
Booking an Outer Banks vacation is the perfect gift…and super simple. Just visit us online, choose your perfect Outer Banks beach home, and voila!…the perfect gift for everyone on your list. And don’t forget about our limited time offers including our Book Early & Save promo as well as our EZ Pay plan! Super simple and worry-free.
There’s no doubt that there’s anticipation leading up to Christmas morning. Keep that excitement alive longer until June (or July or August!). By giving the gift of an Outer Banks vacation, not only will everyone be super excited about the actual vacation, they’ll count down the days until it’s time to head to the OBX!
Think about it. When was the last time you bought some THING that brought you as much happiness as time spent with the ones you love? Research proves that experiences are far more fulfilling and deliver more-lasting happiness. Don’t get us wrong, there is nothing wrong with tangible, physical gifts. (We love them too!) However, the gift of travel and unforgettable memories offer so much more. The time spent and memories made with family and friends is irreplaceable and something that will definitely last a lifetime.
Family vacations on the Outer Banks are remembered both in the moment and for long afterwards in the memories they create. Resort Realty wants to help everyone create moments in time that bring us closer to the ones we love and make 2018 the year that you will remember…With more than 500 vacation rentals located from Corolla to Hatteras Island we make it easy to plan the perfect Outer Banks vacation experience.
These days won’t last forever…don’t miss out on some truly unforgettable moments that will evolve into the some of the best memories you’ll ever have.
