OCTOBER 3 – 6 // OUTER BANKS BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL

OCTOBER 4 // ISLAND ART SHOW

10:00 AM – 4:00 PM @ The Rodanthe Waves Salvo Community Center | Rodanthe

The last Island Art show of the season is a must attend event! See and shop different crafts, art, and more from talented local vendors. Admission to the show is free so you can save your cash for crafts!

OCTOBER 6 – 7 // DUCK JAZZ FESTIVAL

Enjoy the best jazz music the town of Duck has to offer! Live music from a variety of jazz performers in the Duck Town Park makes the perfect recipe for a fun filled weekend. OCTOBER 6 – 27 // PUMPKIN PATCH SATURDAYS

10:00 – 4:00 PM @ Island Farm | Manteo

Pick the perfect pumpkin at Island Farm! Every Saturday in October, Island Farm will be featuring Pumpkin Patch Saturdays will hay riders, candle making, and more! Admission is $8 and children under age 5 are free. Take home a pumpkin for an additional $5!

OCTOBER 19 – 27 // FALL RESTAURANT WEEK

Eat your way across the Outer Banks during Fall Restaurant Week! No advance tickets are needed! Outer Banks Restaurant Week gives food lovers the opportunity to enjoy 3-course dinner or lunch menus at a fixed price of either $20 or $35. OCTOBER 20 // OUTER BANKS SEAFOOD FESTIVAL

10:30 AM – 6:00 PM @ The Soundside Event Site

The Outer Banks Seafood festival is a fun, family friendly event for all. Eat some of the best Outer Banks seafood, learn about local fishermen and their important role in the community, and even try your hand at the mullet toss! Admission to the event is $5. OCTOBER 24 – 25 // TRICK OR TREAT UNDER THE SEA

6:00 PM – 8:00 PM @ The North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island | Manteo

Trick or Treat with your fishy friends! Trick Or Treat Under The Sea is a family friendly event at the North Carolina Aquarium! Enjoy dance parties, visit the mad scientist laboratory, and visit ghosts in the Graveyard of the Atlantic! Kids can trick or treat at booths of local businesses during the event as well! Ticket’s are $13 plus tax and go on sale beginning October 1st.

OCTOBER 27 // HARVEST HAYDAY

10:00 AM – 1:00 PM @ The Elizabethan Gardens | Manteo

Start a fun, family tradition at The Elizabethan Gardens! Harvest Hayday features hayrides, hay bale maze, crafts, and more! Admission to this event is $9 for adults, $6 for children ages 6-17. Children under 5 are free with a paying adult.

OCTOBER 27 // OUTER BANKS BREWTAG

12:00 PM – 6:00 PM @ The Soundside Event Site

The Outer Banks Brewtag features flying kegs, a beer garden, over 20 different types of beer, and so much more! A kids zone featuring arts and crafts and a mechanical shark will be set up plus great local food! Admission to this event is free, just pay for food and beverages. OCTOBER 28 // OYSTER ROAST

12:00 PM – 5:00 PM @ Mimi’s Tiki Hut in Pirate’s Cove Marina | Manteo
