On February 4, Resort Realty’s real estate sales division held its annual sales meeting at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kitty Hawk, NC.

Among the discussions were the presentations of the 2013 overall real estate statistics from the Outer Banks Association of realtors. The company has moved from #6 in the local industry to #2 in the last year. With almost $96 million in total sales, the company has positioned itself as a leading real estate firm on the OBX.

Top agents for the year were also announced at the meeting. The real estate sales team of Dick and Linda Harper were the top team performers in the company with more than $8,972,400 is sales.

OBX agent Mike Siers was also recognized as top Sales Agent for the firm in 2013 with a volume of $5,899,800.

During the annual meeting, the fifth edition of the Resort Report was presented. The Resort Report is a comprehensive sales report that organizes and breaks down the sales statistics as presented by the Outer BanksAssociation of Realtors for all of 2013. Statistics include residential total sales and volume numbers as well as the same for lots and land, organized by area.The report is a great tool for agents to provide to clients well as for those looking to do research on buying OBX property.
