Sitting on the beautiful Roanoke Sound, the Nags Head Event Site hosted the fourth annual Outer Banks Seafood Festival last weekend.  Visitors and locals alike gathered to enjoy the best of what the OBX has to offer- fresh seafood, great music, serene water views, and the best fall weather anyone could ask for.  The event site was abuzz with family and friends sharing laughs, tasting the newest local beer, and discussing who had the best fish taco.  With only $3 for the admission fee, this local event is not one to miss.   Over 20 local restaurants were serving up their best seafood inspired dishes, 40 artisans showcasing their coastal inspired work, and 6 rockin bands providing entertainment, this event is quickly becoming an Outer Banks tradition.

This family-friendly event has a mission to “provide a fun and educational experience, promoting, honoring, and celebrating our coastal seafood heritage and community”, and they’ve definitely lived up to that with all the food vendors, live music, children’s activities, and cooking demos. For more information and to learn more about the event, visit the Seafood Fest website here.
