Outer Banks Seafood Festival

The Outer Banks Seafood Festival is a foodie’s dream come true, with various local restaurants, breweries, and vineyards serving up their most impressive culinary dishes and beverages. This year is the festival’s fourth year running and each year it continues to fulfill its mission to provide a fun and educational experience, promoting, honoring, and celebrating our coastal seafood heritage and community.

This family-friendly event brings the food and the fun with live music, children’s activities, cooking demos, and vendor booths to visit from 10:30 am – 6:00 pm. The Outer Banks Event Site will be filled with tents hosting 18 local restaurants and six beverage companies with their own personal menus. Meet the local fisherman and learn more about the Outer Banks coastal heritage at the educational booths as well. Local artisans will also be nearby to sell their unique creations.

Food, beverage and vendor merchandise can be purchased with “Sea Bucks.” These vouchers are worth a dollar each and can be purchased the day of the event or online. Admission is $3 for ages 12 and up and includes free shuttle service to the event. Shuttles will run every half hour (or less) from Whalebone Park, Nags Head Town Hall, Old Nags Head Church, Nags Head Elementary School, and the Dare County Government Center.

There is no onsite parking. A free shuttle service will be provided to and from the festival from the following locations:

Whalebone Park [Blue Lot]:
In the 7200 block of S. Virginia Dare Trail, across from Jennette’s Pier, Nags Head, 10:30am – 7:00pm.

Nags Head Town Hall [Red Lot]:
5401 S. Croatan Hwy. Nags Head, 10:30am – 6:30pm.

Old Nags Head Church (Sponsor Parking Only) [Orange Lot]
105 West Soundside Rd, Nags Head, 10:30am – 6:30pm

Nags Head Elementary School/Dowdys [Green Lot]:**
3100 S. Wrightsville Ave. Nags Head, 10:30am – 7:00pm (9:00am for vendors)

Dare County Government Center [Purple Lot]:
954 Marshall C. Collins Street, Manteo, 9:00am – 6:30pm.
