Mondays: Nights in Rodanthe movie behind the scenes, filmed on Hatteras Island, featuring Richard Gere.
Tuesdays: America’s Forgotten Heroes- US Life-Saving Service was the predecessor to today’s Coast Guard
Wednesdays: Traditional Hatteras Cooking- with samples!
Special Event: (only the 1st Wednesday of June, July, August): US Coast Rescuers of HMS Bounty sinking Hurricane Sandy Oct 2012 tell the fantastic story
Thursdays: Beach Apparatus Drill (aka “Breeches Buoy Rescue Reenactment”) performed by US Coast Guard
Fridays: Hence the Phrase-maritime origins of our everyday words and phrases that you never thought about! Fun game format.
