EAT + DRINK

For Breakfast…

Henry’s is probably one of the best breakfast spot on the OBX in general. Serving breakfast until 1:00, Henry’s features breakfast platters, eggs Benedict, crab Benedict, breakfast sandwiches, and more! Whatever you decide to try during your one day KDH stay, we’ll guarantee you’ll plan another trip just to come back to Henry’s.

For a casual, tasty lunch, Country Deli is a must visit. With over 28 years on the Outer Banks, frequent visitors and locals alike can attest to the giant, delicious sandwiches that come out of this little lunch spot. With over 50 menu items and a huge selection of glass bottle sodas, visit Country Deli during your 24 hours and see what the buzz is about.

For Dinner…

Kill Devil Hills has no shortage of great dinner spots. One of our favorites is Mama Kwans. This restaurant features dishes with a Hawaiian/Asian twist that ends up being unique but delicious! Other local favorites are Kill Devil Grill, Colington Cafe, Food Dudes, and Miller’s.

For Night Life…

The Outer Banks Brewing Station always has the best live music, dancing, and of course beer on the beach. Brewing Station features an indoor dance floor and a back yard packed with picnic tables, stage, yard games, and even a play ground. If you’re staying around until the sun goes down, Outer Banks Brewing Station is definitely a place to check out.

KDH is full of fun shopping and great places to stop and find a souvenir or trinket to take home! Ben Franklin features beach supplies, t-shirts, and more for your basic OBX needs.
