The first of the seven villages you come upon when traveling south on HWY 12 is Rodanthe. Home to the Chicamacomico Lifesaving Station, the first such station established on the North Carolina coast.Rodanthe NC Rodanthe is a delightful town full of great history and beautiful beaches.
