DARE TO SCARE 5K + SWEET TREAT FUN RUN

October 27 @ The Dare County Center | Manteo 

The 2nd annual Dare to Scare 5K + Sweet Treat Fun run will be held Saturday October 27th at 9:00 AM. The Fun Run will follow at 10:00 AM. This event benefits the Annual Dare County Center Toy Drive that serves over 400 local youth residents. Registration is open from now until race day. HAUNTS AGAINST HUNGER GHOST TOURS

Until October 25 @ 101 Budleigh Street | Manteo

Learn more about America’s oldest and most haunted towns; historic Manteo! This guided walking tour features ghost visits, EMF detectors, and more! This tour is great for adults and kids who aren’t afraid of the unknown. Tour starts at 8:00 PM, check-in begins at 7:30. The fee is $15 per person plus a donation of one non-perishable food item. HARVEST HAYDAY

October 27 @ The Elizabethan Gardens | Manteo

TRICK OR TREAT NIGHT AT FFES

October 27 @ First Flight Elementary School

Have fun at Trick Or Treat Night, a family friendly fundraising event! Hosted by the First Flight Elementary PTO, this event includes Halloween activities like trick-or-treating, face painting, games, and more! Money raised from this event will be used to help existing school programs and create new learning opportunities for students. Event begins at 4:00 PM and ends at 7:30 PM. Admission is $2 plus one non-perishable food item.

MARGARITA MONSTER RUN

October 30 @ Outer Banks Brewing Station

Run, drink, and run at this Halloween themed margarita mile! This race is only for adults ages 21 and up. Registration is $30 includes t-shirt, chip timer, and access to the after run party! TRICK OR TREAT UNDER THE SEA

October 24 – 25 @ The North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island |Manteo

Trick or Treat with your fishy friends! Trick Or Treat Under The Sea is a family friendly event at the North Carolina Aquarium! Enjoy dance parties, visit the mad scientist laboratory, and visit ghosts in the Graveyard of the Atlantic! Kids can trick or treat at booths of local businesses during the event as well! Ticket’s are $13 plus tax and go on sale beginning October 1st.

WANCHESE WOODS HAUNTED TRAIL

Get scared in Wanchese Woods! Featuring bone chilling scares, sensory overload, and more! This trail is not for the fait of heart. Tickets are $15 per person and $20 for a fast pass. Wanchese Woods is cash only and is open from sundown to 11:00 PM.

TRUNK OR TREAT AT BEACH KLUB

October 31 @ Koru Beach Klub |Avon

Have fun at Trunk Or Treat at Koru Beach Club and enjoy safe trick or treating for the whole family! Volunteers will have their cars decorated by theme and give out candy and more to trick or treaters! This event is free for all and begins at 5:00 PM.
