When you’re driving into Manteo, tucked away on the left hand side of 64-264 you’ll find The Corner Gals. This local shop is something unlike anything else on the Outer Banks. Ran by Mandy Creef and Amy Daniels, The Corner Gals is something more than just a shop but a place for everyone to express themselves and hone in on their craft.

As soon as you enter The Corner Gals, you feel a sense of home. Think Cracker Barrel Country Store, but with a splash of beach and a sprinkle of millennial. With handmade wares like mugs and decor plus boho chic clothing and even homemade dessert goodies, The Corner Gals is a diverse shop that makes you feel like you’re right at home.

“When I had the idea to start up the storefront, it was in hopes of creating a space for local mama and papa crafters to show off their goods and maybe even come into their own and follow their passion and grow as business owners…” stated Mandy. “I love the reaction of the vendors and customers as they walk thru the door everyone loves it and to me it stands out as a store front funky and fun and comfortable.”

“I wanted fun and trendy and I really wanted it to feel like home, I reached out to a couple friends and of course help was on the way. Joining forces with DIY girl boss Amy Daniels was a perfect fit. So here we are not on the corner but we are the Corner Gals,” Mandy said.

The Corner Gals is home to 19 vendors and counting!
