Nice property
Our second stay here. Nearly everything we want. As seniors (70+) we appreciate the elevator for getting our "stuff" in and out. The beds were comfortable but the bathrooms with tubs were a bit tricky. Minor issues with maintenence - torn screens & sticky locks on sliding doors -acceptaple as end of season rental. Again, from a seniors perspective the 2 sectional sofas in living area are low and difficult to get up from. Only 1 arm chair available and a few more would be a welcome addition. Kitchen area was pretty well stocked, but the refrigerator was small and we had to make use of the additional one downstairs. One thing we miss, which is common on many beach front properties, was a boardwalk to the beach. The walk over the dunes takes a bit of caution. My wife triped & fell the first morning, injuring her hand. Unfornutely she hurt the ring finger on left hand which swelled considerably, necessitating her wedding ring to cut off at the Kill Devil Hills fire company. They were great! More to that story but this is about the rental property. The pool (heated) and hot tub were in good condition and we'll maintained. A few more deck chairs with a a sturdier construction would be nice on the upper deck. I've had breakage with those plastic chairs in the past resulting in injury and personally I consider them a liability. We knew that, so brought our own, something else to pack and take up valuable cargo space. Overall a nice property at a reasonable price.
