Our weekend getaway at About Time in Nags Head was the perfect way to bring a full "back to school" season to a close.
My family and I got to spend precious, priceless moments together having fun at the beach, discovering the local wildlife, and learning about the historic events that put the Outer Banks on the map.
We loved that About Time was literally steps from the beach with private beach access. This makes all the difference when you simply want to get up and go for a walk on the beach, more easily see the sunrise, or sneak out for a late-evening stroll in the moonlight.
The rental has all the comforts of home, and we also loved the expansive water views from the living and dining rooms. The home has plenty of room for a family, with four bedrooms, and we appreciated the books, games, and abundance of kitchenware in the kitchen!
About Time is conveniently located close to a number of terrific eateries, including Fish Heads, Sea Level Coffee & Kitchen, and Blue Moon Grille.
We loved that there was a variety of activities to do during our stay. From relaxing on the beach and combing for seashells, to exploring historic sites and spending quality time together, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
