Did you know we had a little slice of Christmas fame right here on the Outer Banks? If you drive down towards Nags Head woods any time after 5pm during the holiday season, you will be stopped in your tracks by a bright collection of lights.  The Poulos family has been decorating their house above and beyond for Christmas for decades now, and have even been voted number one in America by the Today Show is 2005, and also featured on HGTV in 2006.

It takes the family about 12 weeks to set up their holiday display, and is now completed for the 2016 holiday season! You can view the Outer Banks Christmas House (its unofficial official name),  in Kill Devil Hills, (take a right onto Ocean Acres Drive (opposite McDonald’s), the road will change from paved to gravel and you will see the house on the right hand side).

Bring your hot chocolate and enjoy the holiday cheer as you take in the beautiful display in wonder!
