Dare County Easter EGGstravaganza
Saturday, March 19th from 1:30PM – 3:00PM
The Dare County Parks and Recreation annual Easter EGGstravaganza will be held Saturday, March 19th at Family Recreation Park in Kill Devil Hills from 1:30 PM to 3 PM This free family-friendly event features a wide variety of activities for children 10 and under including three separate age groups hunting for over 5,000 eggs. Pictures with the Easter Bunny from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. Games/Activities that will take place from 1:30-3:00 pm: Tattoos, egg/spoon races, sack races, bean bag toss, ring toss, pin the tail on the bunny, sidewalk decorating and much more. If inclement weather, all activities will take place inside the Youth Center.
The Hoppin’ 8k, 5k Fun Run and Dare County Parks and Recreation Egg Hunt
Friday, March 25th from 7:30AM – 10:00AM
Dare County Parks and Recreation Egg hunt will have over 5,000 eggs and there will be prize eggs for each age group. Order of activities, March 25, 8K race 7:30 AM, 5K race 8:45 AM, Fun Run 9:30 AM, Egg Hunt 10 AM. Join us for any or all activities at the COA Ball field. For more information call (252) 475-5907.
Elizabethan Gardens Easter Eggstravaganza
Saturday, March 26th from 10:00AM – 1:00PM
Welcome to the largest egg scavenger hunt on the beach..with 10,000 eggs! Egg spoon races, hat contest, musical acts, dancers, special visit from Sir Walter â€œPeterâ€ Wabbit, make and take crafts, egg roll race, find special prize eggs to win: prizes, gift certificates, stuffed animals and more! This event has become an Outer Banks spring tradition held in the midst of the beautiful spring blooms featuring an egg scavenger hunt, photo opportunities, a homemade bake sale, egg roll on the Great Lawn, story time, educational crafts, games, an Easter bonnet and hat contest, and more kid-geared fun. Kitty Hawk Kites “Fly Into Spring & Easter Eggstravaganza”
Friday & Saturday, March 25 – 26th from 10:00AM â€“ 4:00PM
Join the Kitty Hawk Kites crew March 25th and 26th at Jockeyâ€™s Ridge Crossing in Nags Head, NC for a day of springtime fun. The Kite Festival will take place Friday & Saturday from 10am-4pm at Jockeyâ€™s Ridge State Park. Enjoy fresh spring air, high flying kites, and an all around good time on the dunes. The EGGstravaganza will take place at Jockeyâ€™s Ridge Crossing, right across the street from the dunes. On Friday and Saturday there will be Easter Egg Hunts throughout Jockey’s Ridge Crossing starting at 11AM. Hunts will be broken down by age groups: 3 & under, 4-6, and 7-12. Keep an eye out for the Golden and Silver Eggs! Parents: Please remember to bring an Easter Basket for your childâ€™s goodies. Stick around to get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny from 12:00-1:00pm. Bring your camera!
Annual Duck Merchants Association Easter Egg Hunt

Hoppy Easter at Koru Village

Pangea Tavern will host its annual â€œHoppy Easterâ€ event on Saturday, March 26th. The Easter Bunny will be available for photos with the kids from 1-3pm, the â€œKidâ€™s Easter Egg Huntâ€ will begin at 3pm, followed by the â€œAdult Beer Hunt â€œ at 4pm. Food and drink specials are available all day.
Frisco Mini Golf and Go Karts Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, March 26th from 1:00 – 4:00PM
This event is free to all and will include games, a jump house, pony rides, hot dogs, and an egg hunt.The egg hunt will begin at 2 p.m. and children will be grouped by age –under a year old, 2 to 3 years, 4-5 years, 6-7 years, and 8-13 years old.
