Super Bowl Events on the Outer Banks

This Sunday, February 7th, football fans will be anxiously watching Super Bowl 50, crossing their fingers and yelling coaching tips at their TV screens. This year’s game is a special occasion for North Carolina football fans. Not only are we celebrating the golden anniversary of America’s favorite sport, but the Carolina Panthers are returning for their second attempt at the coveted Super Bowl Championship title.

And the Outer Banks is getting in on the game day fun with lots of exciting events this Sunday…

Kelly’s Outer Banks Restaurant & Tavern in Nags Head, NC is celebrating the game while supporting a worthy cause at their 5th Annual Super Bowl Reverse Raffle/Watch Party on Sunday at 6 p.m. Watch the game on a giant screen, enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet and articipate in the reverse raffle for $50 per person. TIckets sales will help raise money for the Dare County Senior Scholarship Program. Enjoy a tasty meal and comfortably watch the game in the tavern with plenty of seating for you and your fellow fans.

Watch the game on the largest screen on the OBX at the Outer Banks Brewing Station at milepost 9 in Kill Devil Hills, NC. Come early at 2 p.m. to view the adorable Puppy Bowl on the giant protector screen and stay after to cheer on the Panthers. Take advantage of their free apps and delicious menu and drink choices.

The Jolly Roger Restaurant located on the Beach Road in Kill Devil Hills is serving up $1 hot dogs, free chili and nachos, and plenty of drink specials to fuel you up for the game. Come dressed in your NFL Sunday best to enter to win a free 5-day vacation for two. The winner will be announced at the end of the third quarter, with bonus prizes awarded each quarter.

In Corolla, Cosmo’s Pizza is teaming up with the Weeping Radish to help support their GET PINKED fund. Free chips, pretzels, and homemade nut mix will be availabe to all, plus Cosmo’s will be giving away t-shirts, gift certificate, and more! Don’t forget their Super Bowl food and drink specials starting at 5 pm.

Watch the game outside under the heated tent at The Roadside Bar & Grill in Duck. The restaurant will be serving hot chowder, oysters, and many more game day favorites. Warm up with hot drinks and a warm meal by the firepits starting at 4 pm.
